A Day at the Zoo

My friend Andra & I decided to take our kids to the zoo this morning. We couldn't have asked for a better day. We got there about 9:45am & stayed for about 2 hours. The weather was warm but not too warm cause in the shade it was even a little cool. We got to see most of the animals. Reese really liked the giraffes & the baby orangutang. Charley liked the big python that had a head about the size of a small cantelope. It was huge & right at the window for the girls to admire. We ended with a little train ride that they both enjoyed very much. It was a great morning & then it all fell apart when we took out kids for lunch & I felt like I was refereeing a food fight. Ugh. Next time we are taking PBJ's. We are hoping to do a weekly outing with our kids this summer.
