Canyonlands National Park

Aaron & I took a hiking trip down to S. Utah into the Canyonlands National Park. We camped in the needles district. We hiked about 12 miles the first day & then did some shorter hikes the next day. We fully intended to stay our last night there but when we got back to camp our water cooler (which we left inside our tent) had split all over our sleeping bags, mattress, & aaron's clothes due to high winds. There was a storm coming & the wind was blowing pretty bad, so we broke camp in about 20 mins. shoved everything in our car & headed back to Moab. No vacancies due to a marathon so we decided to have an adventure & drove to Grand Junction, CO & spent the night there. Many good times, can't wait to go again! Many thanks to Aaron's mom & sister Connie & brother-in-law Neal who watched our girls.

WOW amazing photos. We are guessing that was Green River down below the canyon. We have never hiked in there so it was nice to actually see the formation of that beauty there. We have only driven through there.
