reese had her long awaited 6th birthday. now that she has turned six she is sure that she is going to loose a tooth. for her birthday we did something considered radically in both of our families. breaking from the traditional "wait til your 12" to get your ears pierced, reese braved the chair like a champ. she is so excited. she also got a locket that she told me she did not want to put pictures in because whenever she wants to see someone she can just hold her locket, think of them, & they will appear inside. sound a little like belle's mirror? hmm....
this year i asked reese what kind of cake she wanted me to make. she wanted a dolphin cake so we perused the internet for pictures & found one that we both agreed on. i turned out okay but i had some distractions & my fondant kept drying out. oh, well. i don't even like cake but it was fun to make. thanks for your help gran!
