Nothing much has changed since the last time but both the girls are growing up so fast that we can hardly believe it. Charley is almost 4 months now & is an absolute delight. She is such a happy baby & so easygoing. Reese loves Charley almost too much that I often worry for her safety but Charley adores her & Reese can always get smiles out of Charley. Charley is almost 12 pounds now & is very tall for her age. She is outgrowing clothes that Reese was wearing at 6-9 months just because she is tall. She finally has a regular bedtime & sleeps pretty good through the night with one to two feedings. We blessed her the first Sunday in Feb. & were glad to get all the families together.
Reese has had to give up the crib to Charley because she outgrew the bassinet & so Reese is now in her "Big Girl" bed. This has been a difficult transition for both Reese & mom & dad. We have had a couple sleepless nights & rough nap times but hopefully she with get used to it soon. Reese has also started putting together her words & is coming up with some cute things. The other morning we got up & opened the curtains to reveal a very overcast sky. Reese looked at me with a puzzled look & said "Mommy, sun broken". It was really cute. She has also become a little bossy with her newly found sentencing. "Mommy, you sit there". However, there are some frustrating moments too...it took me forever to figure out what "Beacon" was.....she was saying "Blanket". I still haven't figured out what "ocean" is because it is not the big blue & she says it all the time.
Aaron & I are getting excited for spring. It is time to start pruning the fruit trees & make plans for landscaping. We have so many ideas on how to spruce up our property but I don't think we are going to be able to finance even half of what we would like to do. So for now, we just plan on tearing everything out & starting with a fresh palate & work bit by bit.My sister Alisha had her baby last week which makes granddaughter #7 & no grandson. My other sister who is on bedrest with make granddaughter #8. Good thing my dad likes little girls because boy do they LOVE him. We love having them back & are grateful for all their help.
Until next time, hope this finds you all well & happy. Take care!!
