The last few weeks have been so busy around here. My mother's father was hospitalized the beginning of April & was never able to come home. Between trying to take care of my sister & then find the time to be with her father she was really busy & we hardly ever saw her. After many years of pain from his Parkinson's my grandfather died on April 21st. We were sad to see him go but it was so hard to see him suffer as his body slowly deteriorated. We had the funeral last week on the 26th here in Salt Lake. My sister & her husband came down from Boise but my brother & his family were not able to make it. It was nice to have the family together & the cousins had a blast playing together.

Easter was last month too & Reese has such a good time finding all her eggs. We did an egg hunt in our back yard with her cousin Livvy. There were about 60 eggs for them to find between the two of them & boy was it fun!

Charley is getting so big that it is hard to believe that she has already been with us 5 months. We took her to her 4 month appt. & she is in the 90th percentile for height & 75th for weight. She just doesn't seem that big but then I realized she is outgrowing clothes Reese was still wearing at 1 year old. Her personality has stayed her happy bubbly self. She is the smiliest baby I have ever met. I recently started her on baby food & she is so happy that she tries to smile the whole time & it just squishes the food right back out. I must say that she has been come a bit of a mama's girl though. I guess that is why Reese becomes more of a daddy's girl everyday.

Aaron's company has a carpet vendor that is sponsoring one couple from their office to go to Mexico next week & we get to be the ones to go. It is an all expense paid 5 day trip to Cabo San Lucas. I am so excited I can hardly contain myself. They sent us our itinerary & a little pre-welcome package with towels, bags, underwater cameras......I told Aaron that I felt like a star. Moms usually don't get treatment like that. We are leaving our girls with my parents & Aaron's mom is going to help out a couple of days too. I hope they will do well but I would be lying if I said that I am not excited to have a couple of days of alone time.

The weather has started to warm up around here & last week we had some really warm days. One day I decided to take the girls outside & work in the back yard. Here are some pictures of my little helper.

These are classic pictures. I still can't believe how much she has grown up! Hope you all are doing well!
