We are trying to get more familiar with our new surroundings so over the weekend we took a little outing to Kopachuck State Park which is about 10 mins. from the house. The park ranger there recommended the self-guided hike which i thought was odd because most hikes are but anyway...on our hike we spied...
(1) giant slug
(1) black & yellow snake basking in the sun on the trail - well, charley & i did which she informed the rest of our party was due to the fact that she has big eyes & can see better than anyone else.
(1) geochache item which only aaron & reese had the patience to find. the rest of us went back to the truck for snacks
Then we hiked down to the beach & on the beach we spied...
(1) giant pink starfish
(100's) of sand dollars dead & alive
(1) dead crab
(4) humans (as charley refers to them) harvesting oysters
It was awesome to have all of that practically in our backyard. We really had a great time & I look forward to many more adventures.

Your house is beautiful!! It sounds like such a fun place to live...I can't wait to come visit some day! We miss you, especially on Sundays, but we are happy for this opportunity that you have! Give everyone a hug for me!
