"terrific" kid

a few months ago reese's teacher called me & told me that she was going to be receiving an award at the school's assembly. i was bummed because i was going to be out of town but fortunately the school ended up having to call a snow day & rescheduled the assembly.

the local kiwanis club has sponsored a program at our school called "t.e.r.r.i.f.i.c." kids. once a month each teacher nominates one child that exemplifies the letter of the month. reese was nominated for "respectful". her teacher wrote a very nice letter that was read at the assembly which included her manners in using "yes, mam". it was a good day for us both..i am so proud of her! they gave us a bumper sticker & aaron & i were so grateful that we have a beater car that it looks great on!
