Aaron & I went to Hawaii with our good friends for our tenth/fifteenth anniversary, respectively. Since they had never been before we had to make the rounds of the island. The only problem was that they had the worse rains in two years while we were there. We did get a few days at the beach, however, we still had to brave elements of strong winds that pelted you with sands or light showers on & off. We didn't get our perfect beach day until the our last day. We went out to the Koolina Lagoons. Aaron & I had never been there before & it was so quiet. Our two previous beach days had been at Waikiki & it was severely packed with everyone just like us trying to squeeze a beach day into their vacation. I love Waikiki so much because I can slip on my sunglasses & people watch. Waikiki has the best people watching! Koolina...not so much but it was absolutely relaxing. We went to Matsumoto's on the Northshore, Makapu'u Lighthouse, Hawaii Laie Temple...we pretty much covered the whole island.

Aaron & I did something that we have never done there before....we went to the fish auction. We had to get up at 5:00am to go but it was worth it. In a nutshell our vacation was just what we needed plus some rain.
