a big birthday

reese turned eight this year. i typically alternate years that i do birthday parties so that i am not doing 4 birthday parties a year. last year reese was supposed to have hers but since i was very pregnant i promised that we would do one this year instead. she decided that she wanted to roast hot dogs, marshmallows & sit around the campfire. at first i started browsing pinterest & found all these totally cute outdoor party ideas. then i decided these were going to have fun regardless if it was fancy schmancy & they wouldn't appreciate the extra work. so i didn't do anything fancy schmancy & it was awesome!! they all loved roasting hot dogs & marshmallows. we painted fingernails & played baseball. it was really fun & am so glad the weather was decent. she is such a great girl. love her SOOO much!!
